Health care at its finest, all in the comfort of your own home.
Whether a simple or complex condition, our professional staff provides the care and skills needed to help keep your loved ones at home. Our registered nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, home health aids and others can meet almost every need. Whether your doctor prescribes help with medications, observation and evaluation, teaching you how to care for yourself, administering IV medications, rehabilitation following a stroke or accident or even surgery. Our staff is available 7 days a week to come to your home. Willowbrook Visiting Nurse Association provides these services:
Skilled Nursing Care
Our certified nurses provide general nursing care to complex medical services, and services in between. We treat patients for cardiac care, diabetic care, IV therapy, pain management, respiratory services, stroke and wound care management.
Home Health Aids
If you or your loved one is receiving care from one of our skilled nurses or therapists, a home health aid may be available to help with daily activities and routine care such as brushing teeth, washing hair, bathing and more.
Physical therapy patients may need to restore muscle strength, improve coordination, balance or muscle control. Managing acute or chronic pain may also be prescribed. As our physical therapy patient, we will work with you to help you get back your independence and get back to what you enjoy doing.
Our occupational therapists work with you and your family to make a plan for you to keep your independence as long as possible and to help you do the simple things you enjoy doing, such as baking cookies for your neighbors, putting a puzzle together with your grandson, or scrap booking. Our occupational therapists will help you regain the ability to do basic daily activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, cooking and more.
After suffering brain trauma from a stroke or injury, your doctor may prescribe speech therapy. Speech therapy is designed to help re-train your mouth and throat muscles so you are able to communicate and swallow effectively. Our trained speech therapists work with you to help improve your quality of life by improving communication with your loved ones as well as helping you regain your ability to enjoy eating your favorite foods.
